Happy Birthday Ryne

3 years ago today my sister gave birth to the sweetest baby boy you'll ever meet. You can read the birth story here.

 

 

Just hours old. Sweet as can be. I remember this day oh so well. He was the 2nd best birthday gift my sister could have ever given me. Born just 6 days before my birthday.

 

This picture cracks me up. He was so serious but not he's such a clown.

Its ok... that I can't hang with the best of them. Like J- he's a night owl because he works the late shift and I always fall alseep while we watch our shows together.

 

Its ok... that I was completely delirious last night after waking up for a "15 minute" nap that turned into an hour.

 

Its ok... that I found some really great Cyber Monday deals and I'm officially Aunt of the Year.

 

It's ok... that my nephew will be 3 tomorrow!

But he's super excited about his baseball park party! That boy always has a bat, glove and ball in his hands at all times!

Its ok... that my birthday is one week from today! I can't believe I'm one year closer to 30 but don't look a day older than 18. I have good genes. Shoot me now! :)

Blonde? Brunette? Ombre?

I was looking through all of my FB albums and found a picture from when I was super blonde.

So... here is where I need help! Should I stay a brunette? Where its super easy to maintain....or should I go back blonde?

 

Or.... should I go ombre?

Katie says ombre, Kim & Amber say blonde & J says whatever makes me happy as long as I have hair. See why I need your help!

 

 

Blessed

This Thanksgiving my family started a new tradition. We usually head out of town to my grandmas for lunch but this year she came to us and we had a few family members at my brothers house on the lake. Each of us made our own side dish { I made homemade mashed potatoes }

After lunch we headed out in the paddle boats. Except the boat I was in kept going in circles because the shifter was broken!

Then Jamie hijacked my phone.

Seriously. I say this all the time but why can't she stay little forever?

We planned our Black Thursday/Friday Shopping.

Saw this while coming home from J's. I guess he's the "lil toaster"?

& of course we forgot to take a picture on Thanksgiving so this was on Black Friday :)

Yours truly! I had 2 photo sessions before the FL/FSU game.

Yes we tae pictures everywhere. These ladies make me laugh. Even after a hard day. {L to R: Katie, Kim, Rylee, me & Molly} We all grew up together in church.

We had another craft night. A complete disaster of a project but we made it work!

Then we saw the "hot not" sign on! Oops! Hey it was the weekend. Who cares. Lets just say when the 4 of us girls are together there is never silence. We seriously crack up at each other the entire time.

The weekend ended with the JAGS winning!!! J & I went on a double date.{dinner & Breaking Dawn part 2}

He makes my heartbeat. I'm crazy for him. {see that dimple?} Yep he's mine!

Black Thursday Shopping

It's the same as Black Friday shopping but we go on Thursday instead. Yes I know we shouldn't be thankful during the first part of the day then shove people out of our ways to end our day....but come on! Why else would we crazy people go shopping for deals to save a few bucks? I was in and out of Walmart in 20 minutes! Not bad considering it was complete CHAOS! I even prayed to God because I accidentally ran into a lady who was carrying about 10 hand mixers and food choppers for $3.88. She ended up dropping them all! WWERRRRPS!

This weekend I was probably the most productive I have been in a while. I started the weekend off with JJ stoping by until the wee hours of the morning. Nothing is better than spending time with him.

 

We then had a painting party at Katie's to complete her room. {remember we made a headboard and curtains last }

Oh wait... theres a normal Kim.

 

Hey June! We seriously crack up at Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. I mean who wouldn't?

 

 Maybe I should partake in that? Yes that sounds like a good idea.

 

When you get these 4 BFFs together.... theres always trouble.

Yes we go out in public with paint weekendall over us....ALL DAY LONG. Who's judging anyway?

{Maybe Kim can learn to take a normal picture? Yeah probably not}

 

Then it was off to make a bunch of Christmas crafts with Katie. We made the cutest burlap banner for my photog sessions this coming weekend, a glitter reindeer head and a twine tree. All courtesy of Pinterest.

Phobias

Last night J & I were talking about what annoys us the most or what we're afraid of. I guess I'm a little CRAY CRAY with what I'm afraid will happen. Please let me know if any of you feel the same way & leave what your afraid of in the comments so I'm not the only one.

Annoyance:

-dragging your feet instead of picking them up each step. Come on you can't be that lazy.

-when people drive under the speed limit.

-commercials on the radio.

Afraid:

- I recently became afraid of driving over bridges. Grant it I don't freak out but the entire time while I'm on said bridge I think about the could happen. What if this bridge collapsed while I'm on it? How does all this cement stay suspended over the water?

-I won't get in water that you can't see in. Yes I live in Florida and my family owned a condo on the beach growing up. Every summer we spent the week there and I always got in at least knee deep. I once was in deep conversation with a friend holding onto a raft and we drifted so far out that neither of us could feel the ocean floor. My dad knocked me off a jet ski in a lake and jokingly wouldn't come get me. I cried. Big tears. I was 16. Who cares. Get me out of this water.

-I constantly think about tall buildings and if they'll collapse. Blame it on 9/11 or not but how in the heck do these 100 year old buildings stay standing? The earth shifts so how does the slab its built on not crack?

I don't like it when someone is running up behind me. IE; up the stairs, into a house, etc...

Do y'all think I'm crazy yet?

-I'm not afraid of the dark although when I was younger I always had a night light or left the bathroom light on.

-I'm not afraid to be alone. Like sleeping at home alone maybe because I have Dodger? Possibly.

Please tell me I'm not alone here. I don't want to prove J right. Not just yet!

Its ok Thursday

  No seriously its ok it's almost the weekend.   I'm linking up again with Amber & Neely for another segment of ''its ok Thursday" because really its ok!   ...its ok that I don't have any vaca or PTO left I'll just take a day off without pay. I really need a vacation!   ...its ok that I only got 3 hours of sleep last night. At least I was in good company.   ...its ok that I hit traffic this morning coming into work. I was only 2 minutes late. Take that Buckman.   ...its ok that Allie now calls me PS. Inside joke if you don't know me that well. Or you can go here to see that post.   ...its ok because this month I get 3 paychecks.   ...its ok that I only have 4 more working days until Thanksgiving. Bring on the honey baked ham and fried turkey.   ...its ok that my house is a wreck at least I have a new roomie.   ...its ok that I wasn't home last night and the pups had to sleep with my brother. At least he got a taste of how every night is for me. {play, kick, bark, wake up at 4 am, repeat}   ...its ok to get hit on at the store while wearing yoga pants, a big t-shirt and no makeup. It made me feel good. Except not really. I was ready to see J.   ...its ok to miss someone after only knowing them for a few weeks right? Ok good glad we all agree.   ...its ok because its THURSDAY!

How did this even happen? Haley looks like she's about 13 years old {she's 5} taking care of her baby brother.

& lets talk a bout how cute Spidey is! He's ready to save the world one muscle at a time.
