what the heck
I looked everywhere to try to find pictures of a certain someone and I but was kind of unsuccessful! How in the world do I still of pictures of my high school boyfriends but not of the one my heart belongs to? I'm so mad at myself for getting rid of all the memories & pictures we shared together. Lucky for me I found a few on FB and on this very blog but not a lot. I'm hoping to get an email from him with a few of the pictures he has of us. While I was at work today I searched my Gmail for old emails and actually found a few! It was so nice being able to go back to read those sweet words. I'm still hoping & praying & loving!

Take me out to the ball game
Take me out with the crowd
Buy me some peanuts & crackerjacks
I don't care if I never never get back
Let me root, root, root
For the home team
If they don't win it's a shame
For it's one, two, three strikes
you're out at the old ball game!

UPDATE:
I had to take Dodger back to the vet today due to his incision leaking. He licked at his sutures last night while he should've been sleeping and it became infected. He ended up with the infamous "cone" around his neck that he sported for a little bit. Then when the incision wouldn't stop leaking I took him back in to be monitored until I got off work. Lucky for us, I get to bring him to work with me until he recovers. When I picked him back up at 5 the doctor told me not to laugh at him because the only bandage they had was purple and pink. I think he looks adorable all wrapped up! This has definitely helped since he's unable to lick at the sutures but I'll drop him back off tomorrow morning so they can check and monitor him again.
I was talking to my best friend today about this whole ordeal. I have no idea what I'm going to do if and when I ever have babies. I almost had a panic attack dropping him back off at the vet. I'm not going to lie I cried in the car before returning back to work. I know he's going to be ok but seeing him in pain is killing me. When Oakley got neutered and was declawed I was fine since at the time I was working at an animal hospital. But not being able to check on him when he's there is making me go crazy.
Please keep me & Dodger in your prayers.
Spring to Summer
So here's to the remaining of spring and the rest of summer. If you see me expect my hair to look something like this!
or this.....
This is how I feel since I can sleep in longer with not doing my hair. Y'all have a great day!

Warrior Dash Pics
This past Saturday I ran the Warrior Dash 5k. I only did it for the fun & experience not time. On the way to Live Oak it started pouring.
It continued to rain on & off until the time came for my wave to start the 5k. As we were making our way through the woods it was lightening and thundering so bad that people were slowing down so they wouldn't slip or maybe get struck by lightening.
We got to our first obstacle which was a 3.5-4 foot wall that we had to climb over then go under another wall 3 times. Luckily I had on gloves which gave me a little bit of grip but not much. We then made our way through tires that were hanging, balanced over beams as we walked up and over it, crawled under barbed wire, climbed a 70 degree angel wall with a rope that I almost slid back down. If I didn't have Billy and a random stranger help me I would've slid back to the bottom. We made our way over cargo nets, up another wall and down a pole, jumped over fire and crawled through a mud pit.
I was so glad to see the finish line. My body still aches from using every last muscle I have. Next year I'll make sure I train before I do it again! I was glad to be running this Dash with the guys I work with since they encourage me daily to work out and pushed me to the finish line.

Dodger
Yesterday I had to drop Dodger off at the vet to get neutered. I knew having him get neutered was the best thing for him since one of his testicles didn't drop. Its called cryptorchidism which could become cancerous later in life. The doctor called after his surgery to let me know he ended up having to make an incision in his abdomen and find the testicle behind his muscles. Dodger ended up staying over night which was only the second time he has ever stayed away from me. I think we both were having separation anxiety by this point. I was able to pick him up at 10 on Tuesday and boy were we excited to see each other. Now he's relaxing while I'm working.
I know I may seem like the crazy dog/cat lady but he's my son! He gets separation anxiety when I leave him hence the reason he practically goes everywhere I go
Now this handsome boy is sleeping the night away. The hardest part of his surgery is keeping him from licking at the sutures.
