Vegas Recap

Oh Vegas!

 Words just cannot describe you. My feet ache and hate me for the blisters I ended up with. I only wish I had a few more days visiting you. Trust me though, I'll be back soon!

I missed seeing Fremont Street lit up at night. There just really isn't enough hours in the day to see/do everything we wanted.

Oh hey Paris. Thanks for letting me visit & Thanks to Josh for taking me to the top of the Eiffel Tower to view the city at night.

We stayed at the Luxor. How beautiful is this? Our nights were filled with shows {Cirque Du Soleil Zumanity, Fantasy & Hustler} Jamie please do not google those! We also spent a lot of time gambling. At least we won our fair share though. Next time I'm hoping to strike it BIG! 

The Bellagio fountains was amazing. This has always been one thing I've wanted to see.

We spent one day at the Hoover Dam taking a tour inside & around it. During the Depression the men worked 363 days a year building it.

I think I could actually live out west. Especially if I could wake up to mountains every morning. 

Our last day was filled with seeing Pawn Stars, Ricks Restoration & the Stratosphere. The guys really wanted to ride the thriller rides at the top and since we only have one life to live {YOLO} I rode them as well.

This literally was not my idea of fun. I hated the X Scream. We were hanging over the side at the top.

My legs were shaking so bad when I was finally able to get off.

The Big Shot took my breath away. Holy smokes! 

We also rode Insanity & I almost lost it! 

I seriously cannot get enough of J! He's amazing to me & even after 5 months together he still gives me butterflies. I'm so glad we got to experience Vegas together. 

Fabulous Vegas, I'll be back! 

Weekend Happenings {Target Giveaway}

 I know I promised a Vegas recap but this weekend I wasn't feeling up to it. I'm starting to get sick so I pretty much laid around the house all day Saturday & Sunday. With the exception of a maternity photo session, dinner with my favorite little family & a date night with Joshua.

 

Seriously! This little boy is my whole heart. He loves life.

 

I love that Haley is finally coming out of her shell. Just a little bit though. She still hates when someone laughs at her because she thinks we're making fun of her. But really she's just our little drama queen!

 

Excuse the french fry in his mouth. We were at Outback & the service was taking forever so what better way to pass the time than to make silly faces!

 

We ended the night with a movie {Identity Thief} which was funny but not as funny as I thought it would be with Melissa McCarthy. Definitely a must see if you haven't seen it yet.

Another week has flown by! & yes it definitely did fly by considering I'm back to work after being in Vegas since Saturday!

 

I'll post a recap starting Monday of my Vegas trip.

Pits:

Wearing new shoes walking all over the strip in Vegas causing me nto get really bad blisters! :(

Staying up too late & waking up too early.
Going back to work the day I come home from vacation! BOO
 

Peaks:
Getting to spend 6 days with Joshua!
Going to Vegas!
Going to the "top of the world" with the only guy I ever want to be with!
Seeing the Hoover Dam & going inside it!
Winning $148 on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine!
Watching J win BIG on Roulette
Saying my "goodbyes" to my family before riding the thriller rides on top of the Stratosphere.

My Valentine & I travelled home from Vegas Wednesday night which had us arriving back home at 10:15 am. Red eye flights are for the birds! I never again want to be on a flight all night. Luckily for me I was able to sleep part of it cuddled up next to J. I already knew that I didn't want to do anything to Valentine's Day. One we just spend an entire week together & didn't kill one another! {score} Two Valentine's Day is just a Hallmark Holiday! You shouldn't do something special just one day out of the year. You should spoil your Valentine everyday!!!

As soon as we arrived at his place we both crashed for 6 hours.

Who knows what the rest of the night holds but as long as I'm next to him that will make the night perfect!
