Monday I turned 25!!

It should've been a fun day but around 11 in the morning I get a text that could have potentially degraded me or made me lose my morals. Which in turn resulted in Hank breaking up with me. WOW!!! Who would've thought. But all my friends knew how to turn what could've been a devastating day around. I'm so thankful for those in my life. My bestfriend- Molly- who I've known since we were in the nursey together at church took me out for my birthday. Our kind of fun was sitting at a sushi restaurant just chatting away. She even made me brownies.

Here is a list of things I thought would happen before I was 25:

- I've always wanted to be married by the time I was 23.
- Knew I'd have at least 1 baby
- Buy a house
- Own my car

God seriously has different plans for me. I guess I'm just trying to rush my life. I need to have fun with my girl friends even though most of them are married. I just found out another friend got engaged tonight. And although I'm extremely happy for her deep down inside I hurt because I want that. I know that sounds extremely selfish but it's not meant to be that way. My time will come & only God knows when. All I can do is continue to pray for my husband.

  1. Honey, you are not alone. I feel the same way.

  2. I'm glad you had a nice day despite what happened with Hank.

I feel EXACTLY the same as you do Jenna. I'm 26 and only just out of school, I have lots of student debt and owning a house seems like an impossibility right now. This was not my plan for my life.

On the bright side though, I know it's a cliche but you will find the right guy for you when the time is right. Boy I thought I was going to spend my life alone but it happens when you least expect it.

  3. Happy belated birthday!! I'm so sorry to hear about the breakup and all the crappiness. But I promise you, God does have a plan for you and things are going to turn out beautifully for you!!!
