Life Currently

Good Morning Lovelies!

If you've been reading my blog for some time now you'll know that I suffer from migraines for the last 5 years. The dr's haven't figured out what triggers them but within the last 2 years a bump popped up on my scalp. {feels like 1-2 peas} At first I paid no attention to it and forgot it was there until I would wash, brush or run my fingers through my hair.

Within the last 6 months to year it really started bothering me. It would hurt to touch, throb, send sharp pain down my neck, etc. So I finally made an appointment in December to have it looked at. One appointment to the next and the dr's still weren't sure what it is. After waiting 3 months for a referral from my dermatologist I finally got in to see a head & neck surgeon.

I met with him yesterday & he too didn't know what it was except that it could be a cyst or a mass but not a malignant process in all likelihood. I'm scheduled for surgery on May 3 to finally have it removed. I'm praying that this is the reason for my migraines.

I'll know more about the surgery after the nurse calls to schedule the time today & hopefully I'll know what this bump is come 5/3.

I've been so scared of making this appointment hence the reason it took so long to actually see the first dr. I always think the worst case scenario but since I haven't had any complications within the last 2 years I don't think it's anything too serious.

If you pray please pray for me!

Sorry to be all serious on a Tuesday! We'll get through this day no worries!

Happy Tuesday!

  4. That stuff always freaks me out. But if something happens to me, I just brush it off, but if it happens to a friend or family member I am pushing them in the door at the doctor's office ;) I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts.
