Catching up

Wow! A lot has happened since the last time I blogged. Let's start on February 9.... I had emergency surgery to have my appendix taken out. I'll just say that was the worst pain I've ever experienced and would not wish that upon anyone. I'm still recovering and haven't been able to work out a little over a month. I'm itching to start running again and training for my Warrior Dash at the end of this month. I missed out on the Gate River Run which was this past weekend. I probably could've walked it but decided against because I would've been too competitive to let all those people run by me.

I posted on twitter and Facebook last night if anyone has ever wondered if God was laughing at you for not following his plan for your life. I had a lot of comments in regards to that. I had the chance to move out of state about 4 years ago but decided against it because my niece Haley was only a few months old and I didn't want to miss out on her life. I know I made the right decision at the time but now I'm kicking myself in the rear wondering if I lost out on such a good thing. I do believe in second chances and I'm praying I get that second chance. I have so much to think about to wrap my thoughts around that I don't want to go into all these details. Maybe when the timing is right I'll let it all out.

But for now it's back to my life here in Florida with Oakley & Dodger!!!
