Weekend happenings

This weekend was full of fun! Like every other weekend of course! I was able to visit with my sister, Haley & Ryne Saturday thinking J had to work. {he works every other Sat} Well he was off this weekend so we missed an entire day of spending time together which out a damper on my weekend. But spending all that extra time with my sister made up for it.

Saturday night we had a double date with J's friends at a Japanese restaurant.

Sunday we slept practically all day. No lie! But it was the perfect day to cuddle since it was raining. We had lunner {lunch/dinner} where my roommate works, walked around Target, had dessert at Maggie Moo's then watched Promised Land.

Perfect way to end the weekend. I love every moment spent with J.

Resolutions?

Last year I ran 3 different 5ks. I enjoyed it but didn't really train for them because of a surgery I had back in February. Well thats only an excuse for one race not the other three. Running hurts. Really bad. I do so much better on a treadmill mainly because I think it pushed me to keep going. So this year I want to start running again. Maybe I can get J to run ride his bike while I run to help me train. Too bad he works until 11 and thats a bit too late to run.

2 years ago I was working out at planet fitness with my neighbor and was getting in the best shape since my days working at the airport. My goal is to look like this again!

I got this! Here's to a new skinny me!

 

iPhone Shared Photo Streams

Crazy thing! I was deleting some pictures from my iPhone camera roll the other day and deleted almost all of the pictures of J & I. I seriously wanted to cry! Then I remembered J telling me that you can stream photos from one phone to the next! I swear Apple is amazeballs!

Here I'm going to show you how to do this! You'll be just as amazed as I was! No more texting photos unless you don't have an iPhone. Sorry for your luck.

 

First go to Settings>Photos & Camera>Share Photo Streams turned ON

Click Photo Streams>+>then add whatever title you want

Make sure you enter the recipients email that they set their iPhone up with or they will not get the stream

{You can add more than one recipient if you wish}

Now the fun part! Add whatever pictures you want to share with that person. Click DONE and it will send them a notification to accept it!

You can continue to send pictures in the same stream to those recipients or you can make additional streams for others. But only you can add to that stream. If they want to send you a picture they will have to make their own stream!

 

How amazing is that? The other fun part about photo sharing is you can comment on those pictures!

Our 1st road trip

Sunday J & I went on our first road trip & survived! We had the best time in Orlando & can't wait for our next trip. He has an annual pass for Sea World & Busch Gardens so it only made sense for me to get a pass too. Besides J loves roller coasters & its only $17 a month for both parks for a year. Its a deal you can't beat!

Sea World was still decorated for Christmas & it was absolutely freezing cold the entire day. Luckily I had a sweatshirt with me or I would've been even more miserable.

Of course I wanted a picture with Shamu. J, well he obliged! He's just amazing!

This is a tank in the Manta- one of the roller coasters they have. It definitely makes the wait seem short.

We finally were able to get Starbucks hot chocolate right before the Shamu show.

& hopefully I won't be too exhausted from a fun day to not fall asleep at the wheel. Thats the worse feeling in the world when your passenger is sleeping next to you. Luckily I was able to wake J up & told him I needed him to tell me stories.

This entire weekend was amazing. I love spending time with my favorite man.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We rang in the new year at J's friends house with dinner, a bonfire, fireworks & lots of laughter. These last 4 months have been absolutely amazing. I'm so glad to have met J & can't wait to see what this new year has in store for us.
